Late Keyboard Review – Cougar 200K

I think someone needs to come clean with the gaming community and remind them what they actually want when it comes to gaming peripherals. Why on earth would someone want to game on a keyboard that’s just as noisy as the musical variant, being distracted by the laser light show commencing under their noise whilst spending over a £100 for the honour.

I highlight the incessant need of mechanical ‘gaming’ keyboards that have been on the market for the last 8 or so years, replicating the era of clunky keypresses of yellowing IBM keyboards.

Late GTA V Review

It’s not that I’ve been putting off this late review, but that I’d forgotten all about bothering to write it up. Basically this GTA 4 rip off didn’t just leave a lasting bad impression on me, but that it was also so boring that I failed to commit much of it to memory.

Late Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor Review

So we take the lore of Lord of the Rings, we add a brilliant new storyline, we then drop Batman Arkham combat system into the game and just for good measure, create the Game of the Year edition with all the DLC and goodness and sell for practically pennies to gamers. Yes, please!

PC vs Consoles: Part 2

We all know that PCs are more powerful than consoles but the key word here is optimisation. Optimisation is the process of checking and altering a game to ensure it runs on a certain platform as expected. This costs the developers and publishers a good chunk of their budget by having to run test after test ensuring each stage of the developed game works on different hardware, and its easier to optimise for two consoles, the Xbox One and the PS4 than rather a million combinations of components. If games were only ever created and optimised for consoles, it would quite frankly save developers time and money, hopefully invested back into making the game even better.

Late Poker Night 2 Review

This is where it all began, my plunge into the murky depths of addictive gambling. I lost everything, I should really be ashamed of myself, knocking back shots in a smoky room with the lads, but I regret nothing. The companionship the game offered was worth it, and I would do it all over again.

PC or Console: Which is best for gaming?

Having played consoles all my life, I made the transition from the Xbox 360 to becoming a serious PC gamer over 3 years ago, having spent about £1700 in total on the original pc and on upgrades since. Over those 3 years, I can confidently say at my own expense, amongst all the butt hurt this may get from the PC community, that I have not once received a return on investment and it’s only been a world of problems.

Late Trine 3 Review

I have to say I’m very glad that I did not purchase this game at full price. Considering how quickly the game can be fully completed, this should have been given away as a free demo rather than sold as a fully fledged game.
